The recipe: French toast

For this zero waste recipe, you will need:

  • 4 thick slices of day-old brioche
  • 20 cl of fresh Isigny cream
  • 1 knob of butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Maple syrup
For eggnog in particular:
  • 12 cl of milk
  • 120 g liquid cream
  • 1 whole egg + 1 yolk
  • 70g caster sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod (grains)
  1. Prepare the eggnog by mixing all the ingredients
  2. Dip the slices of brioche in it and let them soak for at least 15 minutes
  3. In a skillet over low heat, melt the butter with the brown sugar.
  4. Place the slices of brioche on it and brown them on all sides

Enjoy hot, with fresh cream and maple syrup!
