The recipe: French toast
For this zero waste recipe, you will need:
- 4 thick slices of day-old brioche
- 20 cl of fresh Isigny cream
- 1 knob of butter
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- Maple syrup
- 12 cl of milk
- 120 g liquid cream
- 1 whole egg + 1 yolk
- 70g caster sugar
- 1 vanilla pod (grains)
- Prepare the eggnog by mixing all the ingredients
- Dip the slices of brioche in it and let them soak for at least 15 minutes
- In a skillet over low heat, melt the butter with the brown sugar.
- Place the slices of brioche on it and brown them on all sides
Enjoy hot, with fresh cream and maple syrup!
