Hello everyone !
We continue our discovery of green addresses in Paris, with today the 6th arrondissement.
1- The vegetable slaughterhouse, 9, rue Guisarde
It all started at 61, rue Ramey, in the 18th arrondissement: from a butcher's shop a vegan restaurant was born. Everything is organic and seasonal! Restaurant owners also fight against waste: they prefer to produce less and liquidate stocks rather than waste.
Victim of her success, the founder Ava Farhang opened a second restaurant with the same concept in the 6th. As you can see in the photos, the setting is flowery and uncluttered, to make you take a breath of fresh air while enjoying brunch or cocktails!
2- Guenmai, health through food , 6, rue Cardinale
"Health through food" is the motto of Sophie Daniac, the owner. She opened her restaurant in 1979, at a time when eating organic and vegetarian was not yet self-evident. Its particularity lies in its conviction of the benefits of a macrobiotic diet: a technique that claims to nourish the body in the most suitable way possible, without lack or excess.
The first customers were mainly Americans, but the concept quickly gained popularity with the French, who are looking for healthy, homemade dishes, or even food supplements.
You will tell us about it!
See you soon for the discovery of the next district.
The Bonsai team wishes you a good appetite!
