Les adresses écolo du 17ème arrondissement de Paris

Eco-friendly addresses in the 17th arrondissement of Paris

Hi there !

Today, our blogger Annabelle Ploix will make you discover the green addresses not to be missed in the 17th arrondissement of Paris!

1- The Green Table , 6, rue Saussier-Leroy, 75017

This mostly organic restaurant (about 80%) has existed since 1979. It was originally called L'Epicerie verte. The founders then sold the place to Sophie Sauvé, a neighborhood restaurateur, and her associates. The organic concept being in perfect harmony with its values, it has chosen to perpetuate it.

At the Green Table, everything is homemade, and the prices are cheap. For €13.90, you can enjoy a savory tart or a gratin, two salads or a soup, and a dessert or a squeezed fruit juice. The menu is vegetarian and changes every day, according to the seasons and the desires of the cooks! The restaurant boasts home cooking. The chef from the beginning, Thierry, has not changed, he is still there to prepare good meals for you.

The brownie-style chocolate cake is apparently a must, although I had to make do with a lemonade given the heat! It was very good, it changes water with a squeeze of lemon that is served in some places!

There is also a catering formula if you want to organize a big meal without getting too tired, and the possibility of privatizing the place.

So don't wait any longer to eat healthy in a place where the service is very friendly and the setting very pleasant!

2- Crock&Bio , 98 avenue Niel, 75017

Open since 2011, this restaurant is run by a very friendly couple, the husband in the kitchen and the wife in the dining room. All the dishes offered are organic and homemade. It's a kind of fast food, a place where you can eat on the go... while paying attention to your health and the environment! The producers are mainly French and all the cereals are complete or semi-complete.

You have the possibility of preparing your own sandwiches and salads, as well as your pressed fruit juices! The dish of the day, fish accompanied by its 3 garnishes, is at 11.90 euros to give you an idea of the price. You can also take homemade ice cream, pancakes and galettes to take away.

Even if the restaurant suffered the full brunt of covid-19, with a sharp drop in its turnover, its creators are hopeful that business will gradually pick up!

A little anecdote to finish: the husband's mother is the manager of Guenmaï, an organic restaurant in the 6th arrondissement of Paris! (We will tell you about it soon in the article dedicated to the 6th arrondissement.) He worked there for a few years before creating his own restaurant. The apple never falls far from the tree as they say ;)

Enjoy your lunch !
